Continuing the wrong dress for event in question was Kareena at the Mowgli screening later in the evening wearing a strapless Mary Katrantzou sequin number.
It’s not that she didn’t look good. But, a sexy siren look for a kid’s related movie just felt so very out of place!

Forget that, she looks like she just stepped out of the shower (avec la “sexy siren” makeup) and wrapped a shiny bathrobe around her.
She looks dressed for a night club . . What’s with the makeup and gelled hair? Event appropriateness – 0/10
Ridiculous..With these forced poses and perpetual pout, I find it hard to appreciate anything Kareena wears.
Oooh I get it! She channeling Scarlett Johansen, because she gave the voice to Kaa in the last Jungle Book movie. The whole sex siren, goth seductress look is Kareena’s chance to look more Hollywood. I expected Kareena to be a tad bit more original. So disappointing!
Why is SHE trying this hard? She was the ‘I dint give a F#%^ girl for a long time’ … it’s her phase, I think she will get out of it. Let’s let her ride it out.

She plays the role of Ka- the sexy cobra in the movie. Maybe she’s just trying to channel that in all her looks. Event appropriateness aside, she looks marvellous.

But Ka isn’t a sexy cobra. In fact Jon Favreau’s Jungle Book was the first time Ka was portrayed female. I completely agree with Payal here. She looks good but could’ve saved this for some other glam event. Another poster seems to have hit the nail in the head: Malaika’s influence is clearly visible on Kareena. She dresses up sexy regardless of the occasion. Not that you have to be a prude but a little variety would be nice. I would take 2012-2015 Kareena anyday over this.
Also she probably wants to look like she doesn’t have a stepdaughter that grown up now that Sara is making her debut ; she doesn’t want the mom roles

I totally agree. Kareena is blessed with good looks and genes that would take her instantly from a ” girl next door” to ” Marilyn Monroe” in reel life and in real life she has always been a sensible dresser and had her own style. Of late, it seems she is trying to prove that ” motherhood” has done nothing to her, not to her body not to her mind, which I find crazy. Its not only her, Karishma once in a while throws up crazy too.
