Kareena attended the IIFA 2025 press meet wearing a newspaper print jacket and skirt set from John Galliano. From a fashion perspective, to have a sighting of this iconic print is quite a big deal but I am on the fence about the boots here. They felt too heavy. Overall though, am also not sure this set works on Ms. Kapoor either. The set makes even the statuesque Ms. Kapoor look oh-so-short. This is a case of great sourcing of clothes but ending up on the wrong client.

Yep!
Kareena is not really statuesque so this only shows that pouring her into the entire set was a wrong choice. As much as I love Galliano’s newspaper print for Dior, this comes across as stuffy and try hard with the boots, rather than effortlessly iconic which is should given it’s Kareena of all people pulling it off.
I would’ve loved to see just the blazer on a pair of black pants or jeans-I think she would’ve killed it.
I think she looks lovely!! The finishing touches and the make up was pretty spot on as well.
this is not working for her, she cd have just swapped pants for leatherish black pants. This skirt is not everybodys cup of tea and print on the top of it.
The photoshoot pics as she was boarding her jet looked very good but not translating at this event. Agreed the proportions do nothing for her.

The fit is off n boots are making her shorter
Agree the boots don’t work either length is short making her look short & bulky . Some sling backs or wedges would work better
