Umang, a concert for the Mumbai police, is underway as we blog and one of the first celebs to attend was Kangana Ranaut wearing a gorgeous Madhurya sari. Hair in an updo complete with gajra, her look was finished out with floral studs and kundan bangles from Jaipur Gems.

Vidya should take some tips on how to do silk saree in a modern way. I do understand that vidya has her personal style but bit of a change every now and then would make a difference.
That saree is beautiful on her but don’t like the hair and make up.
I love how kangana never looks overwhelmed by the clothes she is wearing. One of the very few girls who carry traditional and western outfits with equal elan.
Dog weave pattern. Now THAT is how you take a centuries old fashion and serve it up fresh and new. I hope more designers copy this style.
