Kangana attended the Manikarnika success bash wearing a white and red paithani in a Nauvari drape complete with a nath, necklace and a waist belt. The wearing of the hair down made the look feel a bit incomplete to me. I would’ve liked it worn up.

I love this look, the sari and jewelers. It’s looking casual and fun with hair down, that’s what she is going for. With hair up it would be a more pro look.
Agree….the hair makes it look sexy and contemporary. Hair up would have looked too costumy . I love how Kangana brings a sense of playfulness and wit to this look.
I’d like a traditional blouse with not so low cut.. and the mojris swapped for something better. Rest is all good
Too gimmicky, not feeling it!
I don’t mind the hair, and nagras are totally my go-to fellas for just about any outfit, but maybe kolhapuris would have really helped round out the look in this case.
Shilpa, Soha, Sara this is how sari-pants and sari-whatevers should be done. This is the original sari-pant. My grandmother rode horses in a nauwari sari.
It’s grt that she brings such unique Indian styles to the fore.
But agree about the blouse. The low cut feels so inappropriate for the nauvari. Also agree about the mojris. A traditional open chappal would look grt!
