For whatever reason Kajol’s persona g us s being swindled into bombshell by putting her in these tight, bright, jazzy stuff, She looks uncomfortable damn too much.
I wish the stylists and celebrities put little bit more attention to the pleats while draping a saree. A set of nice pleats can make a positive difference.
Yes, it’s a rookie mistake – the first pleat should be a deep pleat, so it stays put. When it is folded without depth, it opens up like it has here. The reason, I think, is that she has taken the pallu too long till the ground, so unless the saree is designed for that extra length, there won’t be enough material for 4 full pleats that the model has (because she needs less fabric) versus the barely 2 and half that Kajol got
Yeah, the drape’s bad because there are hardly any pleats.
However, I am still grateful for the full pallu cover. Imagine, this drape with a barely there pallu and the spaghetti strap blouse! What a disaster that would have been.

while the pleating is not perfect, could also be a function of the saree material..
