While at a recent awards event, Kajol was photographed in a mint-colored pantsuit that featured embellished details at the shoulders. Diamond rings and chunky platform sandals rounded out her look.
We weren’t big fans of the look. The color did absolutely nothing for her, the fabric puckered badly and the cape/cascading fabric at the shoulders felt both unnecessary and dated. This was a missed opportunity.

Horrendous!!
This has been her aesthetic pretty much since her return to screen (with a few rare hits), and she always looks so uncomfortable and out of her zone. The nineties and early two-thousands were such a different time in terms (or rather, a lack there) of choreographed public appearances – it is as if she cannot help but flail against the current of today because she simply does not know any better. Sorry for the tirade. Have always loved her, and her cluelessness upsets me.
I remember the award shows from late 90s where she’d be pictured wearing a simple suit with her glasses and no makeup. That seemed to be more of her comfort zone and sometimes having a stylist hurts one’s true style more than it helps like in this case. Stunning and talented actress with a beautiful smile who doesn’t look like she’s in her comfortable element in this picture.
yeah man, bring back the simple suits already. love Sara Ali Khan in that department.
OMG, thats so much makeup on her face…the first picture is like she has a mask on. The pant suit is hideous, those sandals are horrid and whats with the scary smile…Everything’s so wrong!
Eye makeup is ghastly!
outfit is hideous enough. shoes makes it worse. and about the makeup & hair? we need not even begin. why would she do this to herself?
All she needs is a wand in her hand and she can be the stylist Parimaa to Parineeti.

it looks like something that may have seemed like a good idea, but photographed terribly – especially with all that flash.
on the positive side, had she worn the same mint green as a chiffon saree with the delicate embroidery and her hair loose a la suraj hua maddham we would have got our Anjali back

When the smile doesn’t reach the eyes 🙁 (I am not judging, here) and then added woes of bad finishing and such shiny fabric….
She knows she’s wearing a horrendous outfit… that fake smile in every pic says it all!
this is so many kinds of hideous, I can’t even *begin* to list them. from that mummy’s-dupatta-cape to those clunky silver sandals, it’s a disaster.

as for the make-up, it’s like it’s been slapped on by a 3 year old.
