Neena is a beautiful woman but she is not wearing her sari well. No doubt that Masaba’s collection is beautiful however Neena doesn’t seem to be doing justice to it.
Love the prints & designing but still have a gripe about the bad choice of material…that cheesy shiny china silk sorta material, also causing some of the stitching to NOT look seamless on both sarees, especially on the yellow. Some day, I reeeeally hope Masaba moves over to a more expensive and richer fabric like raw silk, or go for cottons and linens….anything but, these cheesy shiny stuff she uses time and tide. Until then, the nylon polyester stuff is a complete eyesore.
A pity, considering that the designer has some really lovely ideas…and yes, sphagetti bouses are not nice, even on a beautiful woman as Neena Gupta. If she can’t pull this one, no one can, amognst her contemporaries 🙂
Both looks are awful…the first one is horrendous with the bra/blouse and while the second pic is slightly better, her makeup, her hair and the sari itself is a monstrosity. How can these patched up sarees be called designer wear? From the land of skilled weavers, this type of “saree” should not see the day of light! Argh.
Both are beautiful and unique, but I will lose faith in humanity if anyone chooses the first one because she forgot to wear a blouse over the bra.
Agree
i SECOND THAT!lol
Lol
Lol! Well said, crab. 🙂
Ha ha! LOL
+1
the one on the left looks better on her, too washed out in the other one, although I really like the sari on the right, just does not work for her
Did she forgot to wear a blouse in the 1st pic.. aggggggggrrrr..
2nd look+saree look much better..
Definitely the one on the right (screening). The outfit on the left is just plain …. the spaghetti strapped blouse ruined it for me.
The blouse looks like a bra in the left pics..
Eww spaghetti strap blouse not looking good on Neena
proud mom! how wonderful to see her looking so good, it must have been a hard path to choose to be a single mom. totally rad!

First she forgets to put on her blouse. Then she carries along a hideous yellow sack. This is absolute crime when wearing such a lovely saree.
The saree with the Bengali script is appealing, minus the check dupatta worn on one shoulder and the batua.
Its Tamil, not Bengali !!!!!
Definitely the one on the right!! That blouse on the left is beyond horrible
I’m a little nauseous :S
she looks so lovely. i love the yellow colour. it’s so cheery.

She is the best ambassador for her daughter’s creations. That said, the look on the right begs some facial brushing up.
Both sarees are quite pretty. The spagetti strap blouse and messy hair killed the look.

With a regular blouse, love the yellow choice.
Looking at the pictures.. the quality of both the sarees looks rather cheap..
Eww….that blouse!
this is not the first time neena’s screwed up on the blouses. pretty sarees.
