Huma and Saiyami lent their support to Manish Malhotra and Shabana Azmi at the Walk Of Mijwan show by wearing outfits by the former. As much as I can appreciate the craftsmanship on the skirts (done by the women of Mijwan), can’t say I am a fan of the top half. I like a good corset design integration, but these weren’t ones.

It takes a certain level of cluelessness on part of Manish Malhotra to add those unsightly black clasps to the red and blue outfit on Saiyyami. Needless to say, the black blouse is even more of a disaster. Why not wear a different blouse with the skirt? The mediocrity that Bollywood peddles through films and fashion is astounding!
Based on past experiences, the words “Mijwan fashion show’ bring dread. I truly appreciate the sentiment behind the initiative but god I wish the skills of the Mijwan women were put to use in better designs and apparel. Just look at Saiyami!!!! This has become just another excuse for Bollywood to parade in mediocre MM designs and pat themselves on their backs.
I like the skirts. Huma doesn’t look half bad.
I feel Huma blouse is way too tight if she leaves her hand down it might burst lol
I quite like huma’s blouse.. gives a modern twist to the floral skirt. But Saiyami… awful!
Sayani’s top…what is it even?? Oh wait, then there’s the tacky belt..followed by that skirt…
I feel sad looking at Saiyami’s blouse!! Perhaps, she did try her best to cover it with her hair!
