Gauri hosted a design label’s 25th anniversary event at her store wearing a sequin dress by Monisha Jaising with spiked Louboutins.
While she looked nice, not sure why she wore a sash as well with the dress at some point. See middle pic in the first set.

The dress looks better without that sash. Good thing she kept everything else simple. She looks good.

And her make up is so on point.
She looks beautiful and classy. She seems to be very comfortable in her own skin. I think people like that she stays out of spot light. She seems so down earth.
I think she would have looked even better had her lip had slightly more color to it. Still pretty good though.
Maybe she has a back ache and that belt is for lumbar support. 😀
She looks good but I feel like the dress is slightly too big for her. The proportions need to be a little smaller. That’s probably why she put that belt on to be more comfortable.
Gauri should try a different make-up style. Why not a simple thick liner instead of smokey eyes all the time? Brighter lips instead of the washed-out nudes. It would make her face look fresher.
So true…maybe lesser eye makeup n a bold lippy..

Like the dress on Gauri. See this is what age apt dressing means. The look is glam yet the elegance is maintained. As for makeup part, agree with what Tina has mentioned above. Also, shoes look bit out of place. Plain nudes or black pumps would have looked more coordinated with the dress.
She seriously needs some colour here..neutral makeup with some lightly coloured lips would make her face look fresh
