Wearing a Jacquemus dress with Valentino wedges, Gauri attended the birthday party of a close friend over the weekend. I found the footwear a bit chunky but I also get the need for stable footwear as I grow older. She sure wore the dress well.

Why just older? I am 32 and pencil heels give me back ache issues. That aside, Gauri looks great here.
The dress looks so tasteful on the model. On Gauri, not so much.
Model is standing in 1 pose, which is picture perfect. Gauri is moving around, out and about.
Cant really compare the 2. Can only extrapolate from the model, cannot manifest the same as 1 is literally a statue.
Gauri has really turned around her fashion statement and how.. she looks so sleek.
She looks very chic. There was a time when her shiny face and her blingy clothes would compete for attention. She or her stylist has finally figured what really works for her.

Stable footwear as you grow older? The statement doesn’t sound appropriate at all.
At 40, I find it an absolutely relatable statement! I would rather protect my bones and joints which take much longer to heal and recover than they did 10 years ago!

gauri needs a very good stylist a la karisma kapoor. maal paya par chaal na paya…so much money but no dress sense at all. she is one of the celebs who does not dress her age.
