We’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that Ms. Kapoor seems to have finally ditched those “legendary” sandals. The bad news though, she’s swapped ’em for another pair of platform thong ones.
What worries us more though is whether this liking towards Malini Ramani kaftans will go the sandals way. 😛 (Are we gonna keep seeing her in them again and again? and again?)

Honest question: HOW do you walk in these? They look terribly uncomfortable!
There has to be some “feet-problem” reason behind this. Its hard to believe someone actually liking them so much to wear them again and again and not only that, buying another pair just like those.
I don’t know what to say when it comes to Ekta. Some people have their eccentricities and its part of who they are. I have special affinity towards an old laptop messenger bag and I love it, carry it whenever the mood strikes. I have been told many times by friends that the bag is “UGLY”, but can not help it. The more people hate it, the more I love it 😉
Once I bought a Maxstudio dress that I just loved and it looked GREAT on me. I kept going back to the store and bought the same dress in every print and color available (5 in total)! I know.. I know..
I guess Ekta felt something similar when it came to her sandals, though she took it wayyyyyyyyyy too far. She is probably the richest woman in Bollywood, and can afford whatever she desires. Her affinity towards the things she loves is hilarious. She is probably like ” Whatever.. who gives an eff what others think..”
Its not hard to guess that she’s a superstitious woman- the rings and threads/bands around her wrists. The shoes obviously have the similar significance. To each his own…

I think she must have some foot problem allowing her to wear only certain types of sandals. Otherwise I can’t think of any reason why she would wear the same pairs again and again. My granny used to have a foot problem and she used to wear platforms so that’s my guess.
Never mind the shoes, how did her hair grow so fast?!
I think in the first image her hair is tied up loosely.

I watched her on Koffee with Karan the other day and as she made her entrance the first thing my eyes went to where her feet! & yes, she was wearing the now infamous platforms! Quite extraordinarily predictable!

i mean, everyone has superstitions…like…”omg, as soon as someone leaves the table, someone gets out!”…so we kept sending someone away from the table when India was bowling in the WC…hahahaha

She’s a pretty girl…and if she actually cut her hair that short, she’d look gorgeous…can’t she do some sort of special pooja on cooler shoes? so they become “lucky” for her too? LoL
