In Kaaisha By Shalini

Divya was seen at the Khan-Shikhare reception in a black sari from Kaaisha By Shalini paired with a micro Lady Dior tote and studs. Part of me will always find this slinky drape style odd but that is my mental block. She still looked good here.

  1. If it’s so important to show off the blouse, why not wear it with a lehenga or long skirt with dupatta to the side or around the arms? Why ruin the beauty and elegance of the sari? In addition to being a piece of fabric of particular length, in my opinion the sari is also defined by its distinctive drape which can vary by region, but it is what makes a sari a sari. This is just my opinion.

  2. But this is how bollywood women have been draping sarees since more than a decade now.
Even in desi girl, PC was draped in similar way amd thats was in 2008.

Bollywood women think that a cup out, low pallu draping ~ sexy.

  3. Why is everyone dressed like it were a pre wedding drinks and cocktail party?
So far, everyone, except katrina, has showed up in a bare belly, boobs out occasion.
Im just tired of seeing bollywood women all dress the same.

  4. You are not alone Payal.

It was a sight for sore eyes to see the groom’s mother dressed in a beautiful saree with a normal drape. Really tired of these Bolly drapes… Feels very disrespectful to the occasion…

    • The bride’s mother was also wearing a lovely sari that was beautifully draped. She also wore a lovely sari at the Udaipur wedding. I felt she was easily one of the best dressed at both events – sophisticated, event appropriate and beautiful.
