Recent round of movie promotions had Disha serve up two looks in dresses, one a green draped number and the other, a black gown. Wearing her hair down, she rounded out both looks with strappy sandals.
Though not a fan of the choice of shoes, much prefer her in the green, there was no contest. The black dress with the lace and embellished detail at the hip, for a lack of better word, was just tacktastic. That dress needs to just go.

I think by now we know ‘tacktastic’ is her signature style. Such a pity, she has such a banging body many of us would kill for, but its wasted on such ‘designs’
the first one looks like table cloth and second looks like lingerie . Actually the first one looks like lungee pulled up and tied haphazardly

I hope Disha and Tara Sutaria realise that there is more to being a woman than just showing their body all the time. Their sartorial choices are cringeworthy.
Include Malaika too!!
I used to wonder the same thing, but now ive realised, there’s no way these women (Disha, tara and Malaika, reluctantly adding Jacquiline to this list) aren’t willing participants to this 24/7 T&A exhibitioning. Malaika off late HAS worn more “regular” clothes, and so did Tara (once!).

Most of us make clothes choices based on our sensibilities and the image we wish to portray to the world (Maybe not always, but generally). Maybe, just maybe, this is their chosen fashion choice.
It is shame that Tara has garnered such reputation coz I was surprised to hear her talk she is far more mature and sensible than peers her age. She seemed sorted and bright and some what geeky in her interests.
Why just why….Even the makeup and hair is usually the same….the whole look always ends up being unfinished or not polished….
This girl has zero fashion sense
On the onset let me clarify I am not a prude but I don’t get why women especially the younger lot have barely any clothing on. It’s like tits an ass on a platter all the time! Women are way too objectified and there is a thin line between fashion art style and objectification. Most seem to not get this. Just cause you have a “banging body” doesn’t mean it has to be on ‘display’ all the time.
They think they are modern and fashionable.
For a young person trying to break into such a closely-guarded, nepotistic industry, which again is one of the most ageist and sexist industries in the world, anything they can do to capture and hold elusive audience attention, must seem like the only way to get a foot in, and stay relevant. Can’t judge them for that. All the best to them.
Right side profile, especially with the flowing hair and hoops earrings reminds me a lot of Penelope Cruz. Anyone else think so?

Its just sad… the men will be fully clothed and the women half naked. Her clothes just seem to be falling off her all the time and its unclassy

Younger Malaika
I prefer the black only because with the green dress, the girls are at serious risk of making a red carpet debut… Shudder….
The green dress is very heavily “inspired” by Princess Diana’s iconic black “Revenge” dress.
While that was pure class, this one is pure trash.
I really hate thinking this let alone saying this, but! This girl is an unfortunate reminder of how little actual progress we have made in changing the actual mentality of women as desirable sex objects! That she is a national crush because of her ‘banging body’ and that she unfortunately feels the need to always be on display is very saddening. I know this is a fashion site not a Sochi political commentary platform but I find it unbearable to watch this girl do this to herself and the rest of the women by extension
Your so correct. Surely clothes don’t testify actions or intent, but it’s not completely irrelevant. This can be a really long argument with both sides being right and wrong, but just something as small as dressing right is all it takes to not start that. I know sexy dressing is a great thing but these choices forever are a different state of mind.
