Diana attended a few more shows during at Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Fall 2023 wearing a Georges Chakra black and gold blazer dress to the label’s presentation and a metallic leather gown and gloves set from Mae to the Zuhair Murad show. The gloves just looked riciculous and even Ms. Penty couldn’t sell it to me. As for the blazer dress, it was the better outfit here.

I actually disagree. The gloves look like part of the dress and it gives it a modern, edgy look.
100% agree. But it’s Diana Penty, she can sell anything ! I’m suprised she isn’t modelling much because it comes so naturally to her. Can give Kendall Jenner a run for her money
The first outift represents all that is wrong with modern fashion. First a fabric that veers towards plastic bags. Second forcing the fabric to drape like a gown resulting in poorly showcasing the body. Third unnecessary modifications like cutouts and gloved sleeves that do not look sexy, edgy or elegant no matter how much the moment tells us it is.
The second is fine but might as well have been standard black. Again the feathers look like an unnecessary addition that do not harmonise with the blazer. As for the tiny bag it is needless novelty fashion that will disappear in six months.
Of course Diana looks great and seeing this on her a few people may well buy the outfits.
Your last statement is probably all that matters. And I don’t mean that in a brushing-your-comment-off way.
I like the metallic dress, gloves and all… It’s obviously runway couture so dont expect it to be seen at a dinner table…

If you look around the chest area, you’ll seeI batman’s face in the first picture. The second jacket look was definitely better!
