Deepika was seen in Sabyasachi at both events on day two of the Ambani/Merchant pre-wedding functions, first in a trench coat pants set and then in a gold lehenga. She looked great in the pants. Just when I thought she had ditched the uber sleek hairdo, she brought it back again. I found that lehenga too one-toned but wouldn’t be surprised if the designer had a dictat regarding how to wear the outfit.

Sabya or not, i think muted palette to do with superstitions and all that…to ward off attention/evil eye? who knows?! i dont understand how the slicked back hair does anyone any favors? those hair follicles seem to be in pain! and you still have to have heavy smokey eyes for the ‘look’ to stand out?
I winced too, vicariously feeling the follicular pain – it’s just asking for trauma alopecia
She looks chic in the pants! And though chipku hair is see a lot, she does look lovely in that legends and make up! Floored…
LOVE the pantsuit, would’ve never guessed it was a Sabya. The lehenga’s been done a million times, alongwith the MU & H. Yawn.

The lehenga needed a better , darker shade blouse… And the plait with chipkoo style was a bit refreshing rather than the bun she always prefers..
Loved that lehnega.. but the blouse could have been better. Even the coat pant set looks great on her
