Deepika attended a friend’s wedding in NY this week and was seen wearing a bandhani sari embellished on the borders with an embroidered blouse from Label Anushree.

The saree blouse combo is too busy for me. Also the choker accessory looks out of place. A signature Sabya small bindi and better jewelry might have make this look nice, but as it stands looks strictly okay
DP’s saree looks are just unmatched! She particularly looks amazing in those dusky shades like this mauve one. Other than Rani, she is someone I prefer in sarees over any other outfits! They both carry them so well.

I love the mismatched jewellery. I know she is styled for personal appearances even, but it gives of an intimate “something one threw together themselves” vibe to the look. Reminds one of the 90s where even celebs and the affluent brought out their best loom and jewellery from their personal collections for events.
