Deepika attended the trailer launch of her movie Chhapaak on Tuesday wearing a black sheath dress by Emilia Wickstead with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a side-parted sleek do. Wednesday saw her in a bright pink polka dotted layered suit by Sabyasachi.
Loved her in the dress but my minor gripe was the eye makeup. I am no make-up expert but that brown eye-shadow makes the eyes look puffy and hence comes off making her look tired. No complaints about the pink look. It was super fun and I’d wear it in a heartbeat. If I could afford it. 😛

The pink look is soo good.. the voluminous short hair suit her, the black one falls undone, mid length of dress and the flattened hair bring it down..
Look 1 is so smart & polished! (discounting the streaks). Relaxed and cheery in the pink, she looks lovely. And and and, how cute are her feet!!!!!!!! 😀

I am glad we agree on the brown shadow…it’s criminal for a supermodel if your makeup artist who gets paid in thousands to paint you makes you look more sleepy than you already are when there are enough tricks of the trade that us lay(wo)men know of from our teacher aka YouTube!

Sad she got rid of that moneypiece…the real reason it looked so shabby was because it was a poorly blended blonde highlight…they just needed to maybe tone it down to a warmer blonde? Ahh well…She still looks good!

The moneypiece is a piece of hair that frames your face when you get balayage highlights (usually lighter than the rest of the hair) done…When done right, it should frame your face well to be distinct yet blend in nicely with the rest of your balayage highlights
In Deepika’s case, that moneypiece stands out like a sore thumb on only one side of her head (may have been done on both in another hair parting or seen in another pic but you get the point) , check out other Google images and you will see why that single blonde highlight looks so weird…

Wow – how radiant she looks in the pink outfit – love it head to toe. She looks great in the first outfit as well, but for the eye make up and the severe highlights. But loving the new hair on her – it brings so much freshness to the looks. Kareena and her are inspiring me to chop off my hair for the winter!!
That pink attire on her is so refreshing among all those alike sabya looks. She looks so chirpy there. The black look is also nice and polished. Wish she would have done her hair the same way on the awards night. Love the way she has changed her fashion choices lately.
The black dress was amazing on her lean figure… yes, the eye make up was a let down. She looked bad when she cried at the launch.. the hair streaks age her. Wish she had spotted natural dark hair with this short haircut. The pink suit is nice but seems to hang about her. A better fit may have worked.
Wow!! Is Shaleena still her stylist? Such a welcome change in her dressing recently, hope the OTT fashion she has been favouring is gone for good. Clean silhouettes look fab on her given her height and body. Love the black and the pink. Have to agree about the eye makeup…it was excessively done. I love her haircut, wish the highlights were little subdued though.
Don’t like either look. And that blonde streak in front looks white and is making her look older than she is. Can never understand the Indian obsession with blonde hair/highlights. It looks bad on our skin tones.
in the black look her stylist and hairstylist totally ruin the lovely haircut plus that gold streak gives me the vibe of indian serial aged saas vibe when they gave them white streak to look old and the whole look is like she is attending a funeral and she is the villain but she is looking absolutely lovely in that pink sabyasachi look
