The cast and crew of Tamasha met up for Diwali dinner where leading lady Deepika was seen in a Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla chikankari anarkali. Adding a bit of color to the white suit was jewellery from Amrapali that had turquoise accents.
While she looked nice, there was something about the make-up that felt a bit off. No?

I love excessively the smoked up eyed. Her eyes are so big and beautiful they don’t need too much kohl to look pretty. And nowadays she’s been mostly sporting the no black liner but lots of mascara look that is on trend. So this is looking different. Love the suit and the jewellery. Feminine elegant and gorgeous. I thought this would be a bajirao mastani event.She looks every bit a Persian princess.

She’s sported worse make-up before – this time’s not so bad. Loving the contrast of the jewelry against the salwar. But if you’re zeroing in on make up issues then you should inject your “there was something about the make-up that felt a bit off” into almost every Sonam post – I see you seldom do so! Not seen a more white-washed actress in recent Bollywood history who shovels on that 5-shades lighter foundation quite like Sonam.

I’m really sick of Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla same lame designs. The duo just have anarkalis in the name of traditional designer pieces. The piece that she is wearing is SO DAMN common that there’s just no novelty in the look. It is to Deepika’s credit that she looks lovely.. gorgeous skin and earrings. The time has come when I look at celebs here, wearing some designers, to get some styling tips.. Rest clothes are just how you put it, same ol’, same ol’. But yeah, chapat hair could have been swapped for a light open hair.
