At the Anamika Khanna finale show, Deepika gave us a dark look in a crop top and wide-legged pants and a sheer cape featuring a gold egyptian style collar. A sleek side-parted ponytail, smoky-eyes and statement Valliyan earrings finished out her front-row look.

Her makeup is gorgeous, but the outfit is just weird–looks like part of a nun’s habit.

I guess I am in the minority here….but I find this look excessive. Too much white-washing, too much eye make-up. And that high collar looks like she ran away from a convent.

am a deepika fan.. but here she looks ghostly..! wat on earth is that outfit.. with those meshy satiny layers… straight outa of a Ramsay bros episode.. especially with tht backdrop of staircarse,, the feeling is accentuated..! she looks beautiful in an eerie way….

And somehow her face loses the regular charm and radiance when put together in such contrived looks.. Its like the look wears her.
Well, this is a little high drama. she’s looking good, a little white but then a little bit much for sitting on the front row. If she was walking the ramp, yes. But too much for sitting.

Love the make up and the smoky eyes! Also she looks sooo cute with the dimpled smile. The neckline does look similar to a nun’s habit. But since when is that a bad inspiration? It’s done well, and the jewelled neckline makes it anything but austere.
