For a photoshoot for Stardust, Lara wore a Rocky S dress paired with the same Christian Dior Fertility Goddess sandals seen on Anushka in the Cosmopolitan July Spread. I didn’t mind the dress on the runway but hate it on Lara. The hair and the shoes don’t work with the dress at all.

While Bipasha wore a different beige lehenga at the Gitanjali event, Raima got to wear the same Rocky S one that Bipasha wore at the IIFA Awards Fashion extravaganza and both wore it very differently. Bips went for a more bare look, Raima toned it down by wearing two dupattas and also got my vote.

In A Beige Phase?

She wore a beige Rocky S for the IIFA Awards Fashion extravaganza back in June and at the Gitanjali Jewellery Fashion Show, Bips was spotted wearing another beige lehenga. We didn’t like the IIFA one much when we first saw it, but now that we’ve seen this other beige one, the IIFA one sure seems much better. Considering the Gitanjali event was all about showcasing the jewellery, the lehenga was a terrible pick and barely gelled with the diamond jewellery on her.

If Manish Malhotra is doing the styling, the chances are it’s a look we’ve seen before.

Poker straight hair? Check.
Heavily kohled eyes? Check.
Fan/blower directed at the hair? Check.
Some bling? Check.
Corset (or close to it) tops? Check.
Brocade Lehengas? Hmmm…

Ok, so the brocade lehengas have been replaced with harem pants but is that a major change? Not really. Remember ‘Mauja Hi Mauja’ from Jab We Met?
