Post the Karan Johar show, Gauri switched into a Fall 2009 Versace dress pairing it with her Chanel clutch and silver slip-ons. I wish we had better pics than the ones taken in the dark because from these, the dress looks bad on Gauri. Also, ff I had my way, I’d ban thong-sandals forever. But, then that’s just me. 😛

At a ‘Blue’ screening, Ms. Kaif was spotted wearing a variation of a Monisha Jaisingh white dress seen also on Lara and Genelia and in a black version on Arpita and Nina. It is such a hot dress but I don’t like Kat’s bangs hair do with the dress.

We love a designer who wears her own designs, is her own ambassador. Even if it’s from a collection we don’t much care for… And, it’s got to be said Nainika Karan (one half of designer duo ‘Gauri and Nainika‘) actually makes these dresses look passable, heck, I’ll even go as far as to say cute and spunky!

Coincidentally, both Priya and Bandana wore the coral Lanvin dress to events featuring Suneet Verma. We love the dress but prefer Bandana’s easy-go style over Priya’s belted look. You?

Freida at MEIFF: A First Look

Update: Turns out Freida was wearing a gown version of the Resort 2010 Louis Vuitton dress and not quite Marc Jacobs. Even though Marc Jacobs is the creative director of Vuitton, his line is different from LV.

After the Vuitton disaster, Ms. Pinto toned it down and stuck to black at the Middle East International Film Festival in Marc Jacobs Louis Vuitton. My first reaction at seeing the pics was “Is that her hair tied into the halter”? Except, it isn’t (she had a high pony tail). 😛

It’s not a look we love (only cuz she has looked far better), but hey, it was definitely an upgrade from the blue outfit.
