The ladies both picked high-waisted full skirts for their respective appearances, with one taking a more dressed-down, casual route.

At a magazine’s latest issue launch, its cover girl, Alia paired the skirt with a cropped top and a Topshop jacket (one which we’ve seen on Sophie too). Louboutins and a ponytail finished out her look.

For her movie screening, Huma took a decidedly more casual approach by pairing hers with stockings, tank and a cardi. A ponytail, roomy bag and printed flats finished out her look.

Dressed-up or dressed-down… Have a favorite? We sure can’t pick one. While there’s stuff we like and dislike in both looks, neither jumps out at us. Both could do better!

Sonam attended BMB promotions in Delhi today wearing a look that was nearly identical to what Asin wore while travelling a few months ago.

It wouldn’t really be fair to compare considering Sonam was more on-duty and Asin was caught in the look, off-duty and en-route to TOIFA. Do love though how Sonam wore hers. 😉

Either Ms. Bedi’s out of ideas or her stylist is. How else can we explain a third sighting (see the other two here) of her in an outfit we’ve seen before.

Already guilty of doing ‘One In Every Color’ multiple times (see here), now Ms. Bedi is on the ‘Do One Of Everyone Else’s Look’ roll.

Of Gowns

Though Ms. Khan was having not too bad a run on the green carpet, this most recent appearance of hers just didn’t make the cut for us.

We aren’t fans of the white mesh cut-out gown. Also, it needed a couple more inches or at the very least, needed to be paired with shorter heels. The length of the gown was just off! And the Outhouse headpiece just didn’t work with the dress.

Richa opted for a tiered Pria Kataaria gown, one that we’ve also seen on the designer herself. Wearing her hair back, Richa added maroon lips and gold earrings by House of Chic to the look.

Her awards night look was definitely an upgrade over the IIFA Rocks one but am not blown away.
