In Sagarika’s case, we couldn’t see this scarf-style Babita Malkani dress very well back in Dec because she was stuck at the hips with Vidya Malwade. But, having seen it now on choreographer Pony (yep, that is her name) Verma, the asymmetrical hemline isn’t so bad.

With wedges, the dress would work for a good summer look. Of course, Pony shows us how you can kill a look instantly. Those gladiator black sandals clash badly with the dress.

If you’ve been watching the latest season of Indian Idol, then you probably already noticed that Anushka made an appearance on it wearing the same French Connection dress we saw first on Priyanka. While Priyanka wore it with black pumps, Ms. Sharma chose metallic gladiator sandals to pair with the dress.

Having seen this dress before on Malini Ramani and Shibani Kashyap, I have to say that of the three, I like it least on Mahima. As lovely as she looks neck-up, the silhouette of this Malini Ramani Spring 09 dress is all wrong for her from the little that we can see.

Wonder if Kristin’s appearance in the upcoming “Sex and The City” sequel in a Roberto Cavalli chain print gown has anything to do with the recent spurt of the same print being seen on ladies at Delhi dos. It’s either that or there was a sale somewhere that we missed out on. 😉

I loved this dress in the photoshoot on Shilpa only because the mustard/gold against the white stood out as did the hair. It made for a good picture. In real life though, I wouldn’t ever be drawn to this dress as I can’t see that color working and seeing Shriya just reaffirms it.
