Also at the Vogue luncheon was Deepika Roy on whom we spotted the Lanvin ‘Happy’ bag. While we loved the colors against her stark white outfit, the bag itself was a letdown! A shame really coz’ we adore Lanvin ‘Happy’ bags. This had to be one of our least favorites from the line.

To begin with, these aren’t the easiest sandals to pull off… Teamed with that awkward length dress, Sonia killed any chance she might have otherwise had!

On the same night, both Shamita and Roshni sported Gucci Babouska evening bags with their outfits. Shamita gave us a serious Shah Rukh flashback with her velvet jacket and it wasn’t one we appreciated. But, we also didn’t like the subtle matching of the bag with the shoes look that Ms. Chopra gave us. Do you dig either or neither?

We’ve seen the Leopard Nocturne on Sonam (see here), we’ve seen the Monogram Limelight on Alpana (see here) and completing the series of spotting for us with the Monogram Metisse version was Shilpa at the launch of her spa.
Weirdly enough, the least interesting version of the Louis Vuitton African Queen clutch, the Metisse, is actually the most expensive at $3230. Go figure! (The Nocturne retails for $2580 and the Limelight at $1530.)

Ms. Kapoor has a new baby and that would be her new Birkin which she has been spotted toting around to three events in a row. We may love the bag but even we wouldn’t pair it with the Karen Millen dress that she was recently spotted in. A clutch was the way to go with this dress, even though we don’t dig the dress much.
