While Imran paired an argyle sweater with pin-striped pants, Avantika wore a Karen Millen colorblock dress that she paired with a Jimmy Choo Celeste clutch and dark blue pumps. Yes, the dress was snug on Ms. Malik but we thought the couple looked pretty great overall. (Hey, just to see Imran step away from his safe mode (read:graphic tee/denims) needed some appreciation! :P)

P.S. Loooove those pumps. Ms. Malik sure has a great eye for pumps.

Kahkashan and Anu might have chosen Chanel and Missoni (in that order) to wear but their choice of clutch was identical with both ladies choosing to pair their outfits with the Bottega Veneta minaudiere.

Thank God it was just the clutch which come to think of it, isn’t that big a deal after all… however, imagine after spending all that moolah you walk into a party to see someone else wearing that same outfit… now, that’s something we wouldn’t wish on anyone! 😉

A not so flattering dress paired with an absolute mis-matched pair of shoes is not going to work even if you throw in a clutch as yummy as the ‘Bottega Veneta Stretch Knot’. Just saying. 😛

When we first saw the new Bottega Veneta studded clutch, we wondered if we would see it at Couture week on Anu, considering she loves BV Knot clutches. Imagine our surprise actually seeing it on her. While, some of you may like the embellished details that make it sort of ‘desi’-ish, we quite hated the clutch.

On the other hand, how cute is that Leiber Bulldog minaudiere though.

Ms. Goel was spotted wearing a Gucci Spring 2009 romper that she paired with a Bottega Veneta Karung knot clutch seen on her before here and Very Croise Louboutins seen also on Arpita (see here).

Love the romper and Surily did wear it well but the different hues of blue in the accessories and the eye-makeup didn’t really work for me. Too many distractions from the main item. I would have loved to see Surily wear the romper with the bronze heels on the runway and the clutch minus the blue eye makeup. You like?
