It was back to back blazer/jacket+dress look for designer Nandita Mahtani on day four and five of the HDIL Couture Week. While the blazer/jackets themselves were very interesting and we love pairing dresses with them, the dresses Nandita wore them with made both looks fall quite flat! The military cropped jacket would’ve looked better with denims/tank as would the white blazer with a longer dress.

Oh well!

P.S Nandita is carrying a Givenchy clutch with the olive jacket.

Ideally, we should end our reporting of HDIL Couture Week 2010 with this post because this look of Twinkle is what we’ve been yearning for someone to give us all these days.

Twinkle looked divine in the white Kay Unger sheath. Thankfully, she didn’t wear the red belt that came with the dress to match the McQueen Union Jack clutch. The clutch stood out better without the belt. Thank you so much Ms. Khanna for this look! Love. Love. Love.

P.S. We are kidding about the Couture Week reporting. There are many many more left. 😛

For the last day of HDIL Couture Week, Anu picked another Lanvin another Pre-Fall Lanvin. She paired the gold-dress that has a gather-back detail with Lanvin shoes and a glittery black Chanel clutch. This look could’ve been so good but the limp hair just kills it!

Looks like Anu has extended her one in every color obsession to Chanel clutches as well. She was spotted yesterday in a floral sheath dress with a beige version of the glitter Chanel clutch. Another great look made meh by flat hair.

Here’s hoping Ms. Dewan gets a bit more adventurous next year!

While the dress itself looked great on Arpita, it’s the accessories that did her in. Seemed too much of a hotch-potch with the long drop earrings, the purple Fendi clutch and the rosette pumps.
