Ms. I-love-my-corsets Pednekar gave us one more sighting of a corset and sari pairing wearing one from The Antique Piece with her mom’s tissue sari. Am on the fence about the jewel picks (all of them together feel like a hotch-potch) just but overall she looked nice.

The pleats of her saree look weird under the corset . This would be a stellar look had she worn a regular blouse , either matching or contrasting in color like green to match her earrings .

Even if you are experimenting with the saree, at least execute it well. This is such a poorly executed look, almost amateurish and sloppy. And to add to the woes, it looks so forced and gimmicky. I really wish this new enmity between Bollywood and sarees would end.
i actually like the idea of pairing a corset with a saree — only, it needs to be the right kind of saree. this one needed a flowy, soft chiffon or similar, not a stiff, shiny tissue. that’s the off note.
