Bhumi attended the Punit Balana 10th anniversary show wearing a lehenga by the designer. I don’t mind the quirky chunky Mary Jane pairing but that bag was too jarring and didn’t work.

As for the choli top, one can totally sport an itty bitty choli but at least have the cup fit better instead of digging into the skin.

  1. Now, that is a funky kick-ass get up. Love the shoes and the itty bitty bra/top. she could have skipped the purse but it does not detract from the look at all. HHC, give her credit for shaking things up and coming up with this funky look!

    • I think it seems a bit gimmicky because i havent yet figured Ms Pednekar’s own style. If i did not know her , this look is pretty cool despite the tight choli..

    • Ewww Ms Bhumi and her atrocious style strikes again
This looks awful head to toe and that choli must have been specially tailored for Ms Pednekars style (non)sense. Yukckkk

    • +1! I always wondered how did style and self expression took this path for only women, while men, while in full control and self expressing, are still sticking to dressing neat and classic.
Nothing against either, but I always wonder! Is this indeed freedom or market and gender role in full swing impersonating self-expression and freedom.

    • And don’t forget the open mouth pose that Bhumi has in the second pic… that is a practiced pose which is part of the “funky” look 😛

  2. I like this unexpected pairing with the shoes and bag that reminds us fashion can be fun. Also, women can own their sexuality and I view Bhumi here as the protagonist and not as a victim. But I do wonder what clothes she feels comfortable and happy in.
