Recent round of movie promotions had Sonakshi picking matching separates sets to wear. For one outing, she suited up in a yellow Ranbir Mukherjee. And for another, she opted for a printed set by Arpita Mehta.

Rakul attended Diwali parties in Mumbai wearing lehengas that featured embellished blouses. And she accessorized both with statement earrings.
Between the tropical print Arpita Mehta (below, left) and the gold-toned Manish Malhotra, have a favorite? I wasn’t drawn to either look in particular but if I had to choose, much prefer the sighting in Arpita Mehta. The sequins/embellishment on the MM choli (blouse) looked like an after-thought and the lehenga itself, for a lack of better word, looked very “inexpensive”.

In her Alice + Olivia separates, Katrina served us some serious color at movie promotion event. With her hair teased in to a wispy ponytail, she rounded out the look with color-blocked sandals and hoop earrings.
For a song launch, Katrina went edgier (for her) in a Rick Owens dress. A high ponytail and pair of black slingbacks rounded out the actor’s look.
While she wore both looks well, it was easy to pick the sighting in colorful separates as the favorite; she looked good!

Love that Huma hasn’t shied away from prints or color whether when promoting her movie or just attending Diwali dos. That said, some looks were definitely more successful than others. She looked great in the printed black separates by Limerick. The look in Papa Don’t Preach was my least favorite- neither the separates themselves, nor the styling and make-up did much for the actor.
