It was a good night for the folks over at Roberto Cavalli… After Anushka and Jacqueline, it was Evelyn’s turn.

Wearing an embellished black Cavalli, Evelyn posed for the photogs on the green carpet. Can’t say we were fans of the look. The dress needed more. And those red lips weren’t enough. The hair entirely weighs her down. A bad call that!

Speaking of hair and Cavalli, who else was reminded of this?

Sticking to her comfort zone, Dia picked a beautiful embellished tulle gown by Ayesha Depala. Side-swept hair and glossy lips finished out her look.

It was a look that was expected, that’s for sure. But it doesn’t really take away from the fact that Ms. Mirza looked good. If we could change one thing though, would’ve been nice to see the touseled side-swept hair with volume like on the runway.

Wearing Raakesh Agarvwal, Ms. Choudry attended the IIFA Awards. We think she looked great! The unintended (?) homage to Cleopatra may not be to everyone’s liking but once you let your eyes adjust to the rather angular gown, you’ll have to admit Sophie wears it well. We for one, like!

Considering how we were left cringing the last time we saw her do a Manish Malhotra lehenga, can’t fault this one. She looked good!

We get another sighting of a dress from Nikhil Thampi’s recent collection, a sure-fire celebrity favorite going by all the sightings on Huma at IIFA.

In the belted black gown, Huma looked great on the green carpet! Half-up hair, Valliyan by Nitya Arora cuffs on both hands, smokey eyes and platform peep-toes finished out her look. Minus a teeny red flag over the shoes, we have no complaints!
