It was a gold-tone Anita Dongre dress for Athiya at the recently held event. Wearing her hair down in soft waves, the actor finished out the look with big earrings, an orange-toned lip color and a pair of matching jootis.
There’s a lot this statuesque actor can pull off with ease but this look isn’t one of them. It was too much gold and in a shade that didn’t do much for the actor. Between the color, the embellished bodice and the hair, the look also felt disproportionately top heavy. This appearance was a rare miss!

Kalyani wore her Dior top in two very different ways recently and we have to say, we love that!
The look in pants was quite tricky and even though she did pull it off, it was her appearance in the fusion-sari that she wore to two back-to-back events last night that we liked more, a whole lot more. It was put together well and she looked good!

Over the course of Sridevi’s re-emergence in to the spotlight, she’s given us many different looks. But if there’s one that we’d have to associate with her right away, it’d have to be blinged out appearances in usually pastel/light colored saris (bling either by way of jewelry or the sari itself)! Kind of like the appearance below.
The heavily embellished Manish Malhotra sari wouldn’t have worked on most; it could very easily overwhelm the wearer. Not quite the case with Sridevi though! The actor wears the mint and metallic, rather ott sari with enviable ease. A low know, diamond jewelry and matching clutch finished out the look. She looked great!
