It was a semi-sheer Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna cape-dress for Sonakshi, one that she paired with braids and pastel accents (via the nail and lip color and minimalist sandals). The styling sure came as a surprise but wasn’t of the unwelcome kind. Going by pictures on social media, Sonakshi made it work, and then some. The actor looked good!

At an event flagging off the IIFA weekend, Deepika was photographed in Prabal Gurung. With serious volume in her hair, the actor finished out the look with gold-tone oversized earrings from Outhouse and a pair of Zanotti sandals. The look might feel like something we’ve seen Deepika wear before but it’s not something we’ll be complaining about. She looked fantastic! The red, whether a conscious choice keeping Spain in mind or not, looked great on her!

In Dubai for TOIFA, Parineeti attended the Technical Awards night wearing Dior. With braids in her hair, she finished out the look with statement earrings and pops of color via the Louboutin clutch and pumps. It it were upto us, we’d have picked a different pair of earrings. The accessories were all strong pieces by themselves but together, seemed competing for attention. Minor gripe though, Ms. Chopra looked good!

Athiya picked a blue-teal Monisha Jaising gown for her turn on the red carpet. Wearing her hair swept to the side, a ring-palm cuff is all that it took to finish out the look. First things first, can’t fault the rather timeless silhouette or the minimalism with which it was worn. She looked good!

Now that that’s out of the way, it’s got to be said, the same side-swept hair, no accessories, muted make-up stand is getting just a tad monotonous. You might be inclined to make the ‘personal style’ argument but there’s enough room on that playground to change things up.
