At The Film Festival

On closing night, these three lovely ladies skipped heavy-duty formal gear and opted instead for ease. Have a favorite?

Can’t say we were particularly enthused about Mira’s shoes, Aparna’s khaki pants-kurta combo or Aroon’s ill-fitting gold churidaars… But were we to choose regardless, it’d have to be Aroon, Mira and Aparna in that order.

In Twos

At the Indian Film Festival in New York, Poorna was spotted sporting summery-casual maxi dresses on the red carpet… And needless to say, one of those two appearances was a clear miss. Just how unflattering and unsightly is that dress from the opening night?

P.S. Poorna makes her Bollywood debut in the upcoming movie Delhi Belly.

In Mango

Spotted Nishka at a recent brunch wearing a Mango Tutti-Frutti Dress which she paired with orange pumps, a BV knot and cherry earrings. We though she looked good and special props for changing up the hair! 🙂

Guess we aren’t the only ones with Carmen Miranda on our minds!

P.S: Did you know it was Nishka who styled Amrita’s most recent appearance?

Sari Style- Part Deux

Wearing a Raw Mango sari, Rani looked absolutely lovely at a recent book launch, braid and al. What can we say, we like!

Sari Style

These four ladies sure worked their saris at a recent premiere.

While all of them wore their saris well, it was only Mita’s sari that stood out; we like! Liked Neeta’s sari too, minus the blouse. For Vidya, one word- Soaperstar. And while Mugdha looked (very) pretty, her sari, we didn’t quite care for.

Who was your favorite?
