Props to Richa for attempting the dress but not all dresses are made equal and neither are they always matched to the just right woman for the dress. The altered for off-the-runway dress needed some serious chutzpah which Ms. Chadda seems to be missing in the pictures we have; the Balmain could pass for Bebe and that’s never a good a sign.

Different shoes, straight, slick hair (versus the soft wave blow-out), different make-up (think nude palette and only smokey, dark eyes) is what the dress needed. As it stands, this would have to be a ‘Not Quite‘!

Wearing Urvashi Kaur, Tisca attended a recent press meet. Now, we are all for the DeBo, earthy aesthetic but can we agree, those pants weren’t the way to go with it? So unflattering.

As easy as it must have been to wear that on a hot summer day, this appearance merits a Not Quite don’t you think?

The look works for a night in and let’s face it, on her it doesn’t somehow look as tacky or raunchy as it would have on say…

In an ikat-print maxi, Dia kept in casual while at a recent birthday do. Flats, a beaded necklace and hair worn back completed her look. She looked good; perfect for a muggy Mumbai evening… Casual without looking dowdy.

Promoting her upcoming movie at two recent events, Sonam gave us two appearances that had us go… We like! This is going to be a promotion tour to look forward to.

Both in the Shehlaa sari and the Sailex gown, Sonam works the soft, romantic vibe rather well. But it is her look in the sari that was an instant favorite. Love!
