One blow after the other!! Totally gutted. Beautiful, brash, charming, rude… but totally real – they don’t make them like him anymore. Can we get a do – over for 2020 please? These artistes deserve a proper good bye.
There are soo many songs that are faves … Dard-e-dil, Om Shanti om, Ek main aur ekk tu…, Chandni, Main shayar to nahi…, Dafli wale – so many movies – Rafoo Chakkar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Sagar and of course who can forget the dialog – Cognac sharaab nahi hoti!!
I loved Rishi Kapoor among the veterans. I loved Irfan among the present breed. This year has been cruel. Took away my dad in February. Post that, Corona took over the world and caused so much loss of lives. We could really skip this year.
Doosra Admi, Kabhi Kabhi, i mean, SO MANY films, such a fantastic dancer, such a charming gorgeous man, my childhood Sunday evening entertainment, Doordarshan movies at 5:30

A huge loss 🙁 As good as he was when he was young, I think he came into his true potential once he started doing character roles and those that were off-beat. I mean, Rolly in Luck By Chance, he was so good! Do duni chaar, Mulk, Kapoor and Sons… big loss indeed.

I was watching Chandni the other day – all of them gone. Broke my heart to read his daughter’s message.
