Day two of SIIMA saw Amy in a shimmery Ports 1961 black number. There is good décolleté and then there is the way too much and this look falls in the latter category. Even with the simple styling, this look failed to impress.
Am also surprised by the material. It didn’t seem to hold up creases well bunching up awkwardly.

The excessive décolletage is tacky and that dress is ugly.
The least she could have done is got the make up correct if she was to inleash all that cleavage on us ! I see two distinctive shades and that just ups the tackiness

Neckline is tacky. If it wasn’t for that it would have been an OK look. Also, please don’t tell me that award is for acting. If it is then this would be the joke of the year. Actually Indian film awards are the joke of the year.
While she has a great pair, this is not showcasing it proper. 😛 She definitely could have worn a better gown with this kind of plunging neckline. Somehow the way the gown is cut makes it look bad. She looked like a dream in her movie Madrasipattinam with Arya. *_* Wish she goes to back to that elegance.

I think it’s not the question of being prudish here, she wore fully covered clothes in her previous post. But everyone called tacky for that too. So her dressing was tacky in the latest two posts.

I wasn’t referring to any of her previous outfits. I just called out the prudishness of the commentators for berating her on the cleavage.
It is always biased. Based on their favorite celebs or body type or the type of outfit, the same commentator will vary with her/his comments. 😛 For me, on some peeps the skin show works because of their body type, the same might look vulgar on another person.
If the blog owners themselves are biased to Sonam and few others how do you expect the commenters to be unbiased. Commenters have more liberty to express their thinking than fashion bloggers as fashion reviewers have to be politically correct. So commenters write what they feel good (haha) 🙂
Of course. lol. I agree. Even P&P did not bother about being “politically correct” , if you go back in time when the blog started. I am sure you know it too. With popularity, comes the need to be politically correct. 😛
