Amrita attended a birthday celebration wearing a sharara set which with different styling would’ve worked so much better on her. Hair up in a sleek ponytail and a deep berry lip to contrast that color that totally washed her out.

How to wear such colours? I mean be it lighter skin tone or wheatish, such pastel/beige shades make skin look ‘dull’. Red berry lips/accessories can work. Any other suggestion?
I think you wear it without overanalysing.. it’s a soft, dewy shade and is supposed to look muted, no point in loud accessorising or neon lip.
Wear jewellery to contrast. Neckpieces with ruby-colored stones..

I’m more bothered with the open slit , rest is ok looks good self styled and not made up, quite rare.

Skipping the dupatta and tying hair up would have helped the look a lot. Next different earrings either in white stone or ruby.
