Wearing a Sabyasachi printed sari, Alia attended promotions of her upcoming movie in Delhi. She looked nice. Having said that though, the variety of labels we saw on her during the white theme phase was sure interesting. Appearances in Sabyas now feel very formulaic.

Can we just admit nonetheless Alia still looks beautiful!?! I would rather have her stick to the usual than seeing the mini bare minimum clothing on recent starlets. That being said Alia looks elegant. I loved her simple styling on her. Gorgeous!

Meh. Sabya is turning into the new Manish Malhotra; just another costume designer, nothing to do with fashion. Both are past their sell by date.
I do like the blouse contrast against the saree, Sabyasachi ways comes up with interesting combinations,!

am i missing something or seeing something wrong ? it’s just a metallic sequined border and blouse in the closest bronze/copper shade.. literally every 3rd saree in the country for last 30 yrs has had the same concept ..
I promise you, if it weren’t Alia wearing that, nobody would give it a second look, let alone a second thought.

I would love to see a Sabya styled differently….with a voluminous blowout instead of the usual pulled back hair.
I am kinda bored of this middle parting bun with statement earrings styling with saris…..
This is a lovely saree and Alia is sweet in it without looking overwhelmed. I’d have chosen a solid black silk fabric for the blouse for the same pattern. The border and the sequin tones are clashing here.
That said, go back ten years and check Sabya’s floral saree collection and you’d find similar numbers there. His designs are classy and I’m a huge fan. But he really needs to design some new cooler stuff. It is getting repetitive and we are getting a bit tired seeing them.
