Alia attended the trailer launch of RRR in Mumbai on Thursday then a press meet in Bengaluru on Friday. For the trailer launch, it was a simple Sabyasachi sari paired with kundan earrings and for the press meet, a Payal Khandwala brocade sharara set.
While she looked nice in both, loved the sharara a whole lot more.

She looked so good in red saree and the black suit in her Instagram and media pictures..
The saree is styled well but it drowns her out because she doesn’t have the gravitas to make it work.

She looks striking for sure but Alia doesn’t have the personality for the bold red saree.
I liked the saree more – the forced one boob show I did not like. Can this trend please stop. It cheapens every single saree sighting. Its like wearing a mask lopsided- and, deliberately so. Just looks supremely ridiculous.

She has it all..great styling, taste and access but doesn’t have the appeal or star quality or any unique charm to pull it off.
