Alia attended two events in Mumbai wearing more light-weight saris by Manish Malhotra. I preferred the blue more until I saw those clear pvc platform sandals and went Noooooooooo. Such an almost the blue appearance was.

All things aside, thank you for posting non photoshopped images.
Every fan I’ve seen has been trying to photoshop her arms, stomach and face.
Looks awesome in both but I love the blue, also why’s she being put in super low blouses with obvious padding.
Minus the one basanti show ..I like every thing about it !
I haven’t liked any of the chiffon saris she has worn so far …
Agreed . I love Alia but she always leaves me wanting . Can’t put my finger on it but something’s amiss in almost all her looks to date
I don’t think it’s an Alia thing – I just feel that YRF would have done a better job of picking beautiful light-weight saris for Alia.

Hehe No – Pretty sure I am talking about DDLJ – the part where she sings Aankhen meri, Sapne tere.
Yup there is. In the snow. I don’t even need to go back to the song to confirm. It is one of my favorite looks from the movie. A pretty mauve shade. She looked divine in it.
I remember Aditya Chopra explaining that he chose another material than chiffon to keep it separate from his dad’s choices and his dad argued that it won’t flutter in the wind but it did etc. in the Netflix series about his father.
I have to watch that documentary..

The sandals go well with her saree … And they r high heels . So not a deal breaker… Alia looks dreamy
Those shoes are such an eye sore.
She is looking good. Nice blue color but thats it.there is nothing unique or striking about those sarees . I can see why she is wearing those pvc heels because other colors would’ve been looked out of place.
She looks nice in the black.
But did not like the material or design of the blue look’s blouse.
The promo sarees have been mostly dud.
