Alia was seen at Manish’s Diwali party re-wearing her pink patchwork lehenga that she wore to her mehendi last year. While it was nice to see her re-wear this, with the skirt design being more like a lehenga, the lack of a dupatta made the outfit feel unfinished. No dupatta for the mehendi function made sense but here, not quite. Also, the skirt design was such a hotch-potch of patterns. Can’t say it was pleasing to the eye.
P.S. Catch her mehendi picx here and thank to Nima’s Kitchen for pointing out the re-wear.

Yes the look feels incomplete without a duppata. All hail the sustainability queen comments since she repeated her mehndi outfit
Aaah, no wonder it looked so familiar!
The link to her mehndi outfit is not working
Lovely outfit, it looked better styled in the mehendi pics. The earrings clash and so does this andro hairstyle.
Can someone please ID the earrings? they’re heavenly
Exactly!
She looks great!
So glad she tied-up her hair
Kudos for repeating an outfit , but yes looks incomplete , also wearing her hair down may have looked better . The design is a hotch potch, the patches look all over the place .
Bhagyashree was wearing a very pretty lehenga 2-3 days back.. the nicest I have seen in a while.
Genelia wore a pretty lehenga to MM’s Diwali party.
I meant the patches are all over the lehenga, not looking neat or nice
I maybe the only one but I like the look. It’s a busy outfit so keeping hair up was a good call. Yes, the dupatta is missing but even without it, the look inappropriate in anyway.
The colours are so soft and pretty.
Doesn’t look inappropriate*
This is a clear rip off the patchwork concept Varun Bahl has been doing for years now. MM just seems to lack any originality, everything seems to be a rip off from other designers and whatever is trending. He doesn’t have anything thats signature MM.
The less said about the above lehenga the better, its tacky to say the least.
Not just patchwork it was supposedly done from left over scraps hence really sustainable
Not sure how much of it is true
