Alaya attended a wedding party on Saturday evening wearing a silver top and skirt set from Label Prerna Mehra. Given the sequin silver top, the fringe circle bag was overkill. But, the top and skirt itself just made for an unfinished outfit. It needed a long cape or a crop jacket. Just me feeling that way?

If this were a flare skirt then a crop jacket would’ve looked lovely. If it were pants, a long cape would’ve been lovely. Given Alia’s is neither, not sure if a crop jacket or cape would’ve added anything for the look.
Agree — either one of a crop jacket or a cape would’ve covered up the actual fun part of this outfit, the sequinned top.
I think it’s the waistband that could’ve used a bit of polish/finish tho, it looks too much like a jersey/jogger waistband that’s usually just covered up.
Saree with no pallu and shimmering bra blouse?
Looking like sari and blouse but wrapped the whole sari and did not take pallu on shoulder..lol
would have removed the necklace and added a thin necklace for the waist instead.
