Wearing a simple denim shift dress with tan Louboutin wedges, Aishwarya attended a dinner at Manish Malhotra’s house on Tuesday evening. A look you’d wear? We’d probably add a scarf to give the look more depth but do like the simplicity of it.

Please do not make “sanskari-bahu” sound like something negative / regressive. As I understand, sanskars are values. The values whether traditional or modern, eastern or western, make us who we are as people. If anything, people should be proud of their values. Additionally, I do not think it is Aishwarya’s cultural values that guide her in making fashion choices. She is a beautiful woman with a poor sense of fashion and she was criticized for it way before she got married and became a bahu.

Something is amiss. May be a tan belt to cinch in waist would have given that top some shape. But it is not taking away from the fact that she looks fresh and happy here. I love those shoes! Tan always look good with that shade of denim.
The hair would have covered the scarf as it does the neckline here ! an OK look this, a change-considering she is rarely seen in dresses this short

as in.. Never seen how her knees look like.. ! Coz she’s always covered in yards of fabric.. be it those voluminous anarkalis or the poufy frilly swaths of gowns she’s attired in the Cannes or those international events..

Aishwarya looks refreshing and young . Although the dress is pretty regular .can pick something similar off the racks at most casual wear stores. But as many by mentioned above ….. we needed break from all those heavy anarkalis she seems to favour .
I might be of the minority but she looks so uncomfortable in all the pics that have come up from this event that I feel like she could have altered something before turning up like this. A scarf or something that might have felt a bit safe for her…
