Aishwarya attended the IIFA Utsavam awards on Friday evening wearing an embroidered coat dress from Manish Malhotra with her signature red lip and Ferragamo pumps. Compared to the OTT MM anarkalis that we normally see her sport, I will take this any day.

She looks good, the outfit is not over the top. I agree would take this any day over the usual styles she sports for such events now a days. Also super glad that she decided to give the platform kolhapuri shoes a break. The Ferragamo shoes elevate the look and like I have said before it is a brand whose accessories have worked on Aishwarya tremendously well in the past, so she should stick to shopping her own closet, which is full of great goodies like these shoes. I am happy, baby steps but in the right direction. And of course, Aishwarya then now forevermore.
The maroon lip and side parted hair r welcome change… But this jacket needed fitted pants, to look sharp n also show the footwear.. The flared palazzo type pants were not apt.
How i wish she wud wear a saree soon. Always she wears black to UAE
I liked the outfit better in the videos, in the picture I see the satin on her dress which I don’t like. I would have preferred embroidery on net instead of the satin patches.
I think I love it as it is, she looks so confident, the blazer like satin looking collar is a distraction, wish it was similar ho the rest if jacket.
Aishwarya is surely making a comeback. In the past few outings she seems more at ease and trying to step out of her regular anarkalis. I loved this outing of Aishwarya and Aradhya’s way more than the Archies screening with the entire family. When your mind is at peace you tend to enjoy the event and it reflects on their faces.
I am kind of afraid to say this because I might jinx it.. but looks like she’s turned a fashion corner?
Yaa these look better than those anarkali’s but she can do even better than these as these look like another form of anarkali’s (i.e loose clothes than fitted one’s) and she dont have to hide so much in these.
