Aishwarya walked the runway at L’Oréal’s show at Paris Fashion Week wearing a Giambattista Valli Fall 2019 look that included feather sandals. Yes, this show was supposed to be all about showcasing makeup but did they really have to go the full-matchey route? It’s borderline clownish. Do stars not have the right to pick their look or is Ms. Rai too nice to say no? I always wonder.

Can’t believe that outfit and shoes came from a huge design house. They made poor Ash look like a clown( not borderline ) . And who the hell did that makeup? So so bad

The red lip and 90s hair stand out sorely than anything else. She could’ve looked good if better lip and hair. What is that dress??? A rug+gown +nightwear?? Even on the model it’s confusing, even though she somehow manages to make it a look.
Ohh… that gown is all kind of fugly…n les said about makeup is better… it really doesn’t look like she represents a makeup brand, moreover like a kid experimenting something looking out on net for first time!
Looks like a grown up woman wearing a young girl’s outfit with badly done makeup.. Even the model looks to be teen..
It’s tough to believe that stars do not have the right to say no to an outfit. May be most of them do not have an idea as to what suits them and what doesn’t..they just blindly go for what is given to them..
That is color on the face. Not make up.

Its Loreals show.. so obviously they were gng for a new eye make up trend.. like the gold dust in ears at cannes.
Looks like designer nightwear with some reallllllly comfy slippers.
The model manages to salvage it bcoz everything else is minimalist – Aishwaryas OTT make up distracts rather than adds to the look.
There were plenty others walking & their makeup was nooottty like this.
P.s. did anyone see the vid of the walk? Who throws back their shoulders, arms wildly swinging back & forth, with every step? Who struts like that (clue: not even a peacock!!)?

More like when people with bad taste happen to be beautiful! (I’m joking, Aishwarya is very well-spoken, intelligent and talented too, but I hate when people cushion a bad look with remarks like ‘but she’s beautiful so it’s okay’).
the dress works on the model, she gives off that whole ingenue vibe. aishwarya, who’s 4 times her age, looks sad, desperate and homeless. would have never thought it possible.
after all those cannes outings and now this, i think l’oreal is just trolling her. either that, or they have something on ash that’ll destroy her.
For Aishwarya to be four times her age, the model would have to be just over 11 years old. Pretty sure that’s not the case.

apologies to @Bozo. the sarcasm was uncalled for. seriously didn’t think anyone would take my comment literally — though the substance of it still stands 🙂 the dress works on the model because of her very apparent youth. on Ash it has completely the opposite effect.
It’s ironic because I thought the makeup was the worst part of the look…followed by everything else. But she’s got mops for shoes, so it’s functional at least, right? 😉

Nope to the outfit. Although it’s a good way to discourage a 40yr old from purchasing the outfit. Shoes are really ugly too, and that pink glitter on those gorgeous eyes are a disaster!
This is atrociously bad. Makeup is horrendous, everything is too matchey, and they somehow managed to make a tall woman look 3 ft. tall. Clownish and silly. Takes a lot to screw up this woman’s outing on the ramp. They managed to do that pretty well. *facepalm*
Usually it doesn’t happen, but Aishwarya looks really old here from her face. Due to the awful makeup. Really, the trend of overdrawing lips to make them fuller needs to die! Aishwarya has always had perfectly plump, healthy lips naturally, suited to her face. This is just gimmicky. The eye makeup is even more ridiculous. Reminds me of my experiments in arts and crafts in grade one. And I have no desire to go over the dress. Or the hobbit feet.
The only saving grace for this look is the manicure.

It appears Aishwarya did her own makeup and hair. doesn’t seem anything on her had a professional touch .. entire look is silly to utter comical ..
I don’t mind the dress – assuming it was a Spring 2020 look. Hate the shoes – absolutely hate them. Strappy sandals would be the way to go. Make up – well, agree with every comment. Where is Mickey Contractor or someone like Patti Dubroff?

The make up is garish and does her no favours. The dress and the shoes make her look stumpy. This is a big fail. Also, did anyone see her ramp walk – it was comical to say the least. She couldn’t pull off those exaggerated movements and ended up looking funny.
in the video she is exuding lot of confidence! why will she say anything when she actually believes she looks stunning? very sad.
On a positive note, seems like her uneven eyebrow situation has been resolved.
Poor Deepika and Sonam has hired bots to reduce their anger. Sonam was dropped from Loreal. Deepika wasn’t invited (LOL). Wish is doing wonders. She is getting all the attention she deserves. And THAT WALK.

How gorgeous does that model look?! The dress is fun and very spring, alright. The dark hair and the red lip are aging her…imagining chocolate hued messy wavy hair and pink lips and subtle eye make up to let her natural eyes shine…we all would’ve looked past those mops and actually liked this!

The fit is very loose… else it’s not a bad outfit… many others who walked wore similar print gowns. Am sure on Sonam or any other lady the comments wouldn’t be so harsh, am sure.
Only the best Makeup artists like Lisa Eldridge & hindash can do justice to her beautiful face. Avant garde makeup doesn’t have to look so messy. That pink glitter needed better placement.

The dress and shoes were absolute anarchic disaster……The make up didn’t do any good either…. but what disappointed me the most was her walk…… Swinging her arms in all possible directions…..and the pose on head ramp all of it seemed SO DATED… so early 90s…. I missed that ‘Miss World Grace” on the ramp 🙁

I think everything other than the makeup and shoes is actually alright. I’ve seen the video and the confidence is very “on the nose” – in a “fashion ka jalwa” kinda way but I don’t hate it.
The photos from a distance make her look gorgeous though. Something about the overall symmetry of her face is truly stunning.
I think Ash needs to dump L’oreal ! Only they can make a gorgeous woman look like a clown.. this is not the first time.
I don’t think it’s that she’s too nice to say no. I honestly think she personally just doesn’t have good taste or a sense for style…so to her, this look made sense because she really doesn’t know any better, or care. If you listen to her interviews, she always talks about how she just follows whatever the makeup artist/stylist tells her and on her off days, she always looks frumpy. Further confirmation that she doesn’t care for fashion. Too often, her looks are disastrous. I don’t hate this one though…I think the makeup aged her a little bit, but on an actual model, I think it would’ve been great.
