Aishwarya attended the opening ceremony of the Red Sea International Film Festival wearing a white gown from Dolce & Gabbana paired with an embellised blazer.
The good: it was really nice to see her in a relatively light weight gown after all those heavy anarkalis.
The not so good: Those flower patches on the blazer sleeves. They looked so kiddish and I so want to yank them out.
Overall though, this outing made for a nice change and I liked. You?

I think this works only if you don’t dissect it too much into gown + blazer. Put like that, it makes no sense. But overall it doesn’t look as unpleasant or offensive or ridiculous as her Peacock outings in Cannes, for eg.
Gown looks nice. Would like to see how it looks without the blazer.
Dolce did THIS to her?? The outfit is like a kid playing dress up! Seriously, who is the stylist? Who suggested this? WHY are you doing this to her!

Oh she looks amazing! The lace part is baffling and the only spoiler, the dress and blazer go well together.. I can imagine a normal neckline without the lace patch.

This look is for sure a joke..Nothing good about it. The jacket doesn’t go with the gown at all! I understand by her fashion choices that she has her own insecurities. There are better ways to be well presented and not as a caricature. It’s only her face that looks divine as always, but her fashion sense is terrible. No stylist worth his salt would allow his client to go like this willingly.
Neck down, this look is an abomination. The ovresized garish blazer with the flowers at the sleeves, the black sash with the rosette which is different from the flower on the sleeves, the black lace, all that hair hanging in the front weighing her down and obscuring the design on the blazer, all kinds of wrong. The gown is very pretty and wearing just the gown itself with an updo would have fared far better. She has pretty neck and shoulders. Wish she would show them off more often.
Unfortunately ugly creations have come to dominate the Middle Eastern event circuit. I am sure there is much more that is local and beautiful but they trot out the most eye assaulting clothes at their events.

It is indeed an improvement from Aishwarya’s last outing. It could look better if this gown was just in white ( no lace, no sash or at least same colored small belt) + plain black blazer, that could have resulted in a sleek and impactful look. Lace seems to be a last minute addition? To me, het blue pant suit look from first day in Paris is much better than any other in recent times.
Her GG Panther gown in cannes this year was well fitted. This white gown is also nice pick for Aish, but I guess she added the blazer cos the event was held in Jeddah. A thinner waist belt would have been apt. Face card is winner as always.
