In Manish Malhotra

Aishwarya surprised me in her red kurta and sharara pants set at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party. I was so sure we’d see her in another floor length garish anarkali yet again. And while I wish she hadn’t also paired the outfit with the bold red lip, this look made for a welcome change.

  2. It’s larger than her proportions, there’s many options to not be overdressed if that’s her thing, this is loud and dated. Reminded me of bride and prejudice with these flary pant suits.

  3. Decoding the looks from MM Diwali pics:
Saree = one b**b out, pallu over the other. Exceptions – Mira Rajput (none), Alaya F (both).
Lehenga = two b**bs out, dupatta on the side.
I’ll take Ash’s siren red sharara for a change. At least it’s not predictable and she carries it off well.

  4. Same chipkoo hair hiding part of her face. Same drowning in loose yards and yards of fabric. That dupatta is not even the same color as her outfit. The only saving grace is the color of the outfit.
Same outfit worn without dupatta would have made a big difference.

    • It’s a colour blocked suit ! The dupatta has pink n red ..her hair is parted n earrings were also visible in this outing.
If turning up in decent clothes is
termed “drowning in yards of fabric”, I wish all attendees would drown !

  5. Clothes can be decent and yet be ill fitting, sloppy and overtly voluminous. Aishwarya has shown a tendency towards such attire even for uber formal events more often than not. Nothing new to see here. Her sole saving grace is that one in a million face. Aishwarya is slowly becoming a caricature.
