It didn’t take too long for Ms. Hydari to return to her favorite ethnic look to wear, the pavadai thavani. The actress was spotted wearing a purple skirt with a cream embellished blouse and maroon/magenta embellished dupatta from Anju Modi. Overall, she looked lovely, as she always does. But, the more I look at the lehenga, I find the waist panel fabric such an odd choice to finish out that purple lehenga.

I’m likely the minority but this looks all sorts of boring
If she had actually worn a regularly stitched pavada thavani without the designer overdose of over thought and over curation she might have turned out nicer

Boring n the puff sleeves are so dated !
So damn lovely, the colors and delicate embroidery.
The davani looks like a beauty pageant sash. With that blouse structure, she would have just gone with skirt and blouse and skipped the sash
