In Label Ritu Kumar

Recent round of movie promotions had Parineeti wearing a Label Ritu Kumar mini. With her hair partially pinned back, she teamed the dress with a pair of grey suede booties from Zara. She wore her look well.

In Anamika Khanna

Sonam went the sari route at the National Awards wearing not surprisingly one by Anamika Khanna. If that sari was any closer to a gold shade, I would’ve thought it was Rekha picking up an award and not Sonam, and do you blame me? Between those big earrings worn with that necklace and the gajra, it felt such a signature Rekha look.

Having said that though, her opting not to do a bold lip helped make the overall look feel not way too OTT.

At The National Awards

Akshay received his National Award on Wednesday in Delhi and giving him company were Twinkle wearing a Raw Mango sari and son Aarav in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla kurta suit.

Akshay looked dapper in his black bandhgala suit and we loved how he coordinated with Twinkle by way of his pink pocket square. I also have to add that considering Ms. Khanna is such an Abu – Sandeep fan, I was surprised by A) her not picking them and B) opting for a sari.

They all looked great!

In Péro

As she headed out of the airport, Shraddha was photographed in a floral Péro dress. A roomy tan tote and pair of kolhapuri flats rounded out the actor’s look. Easy and casual; it worked.

In Anavila

The NYIFF is underway this week and the opening night feature was Lipstick Under My Burkha and in attendance to represent the movie were both director Alankrita Srivastava and one of the four leading ladies, Aahana Kumra.

Ms. Kumra, who has been sporting saris just about for all such screenings, picked a light grey Anavila one to wear to the event. You know the fastest way to our hearts, is via a sari, and she sure made it to ours with this pick.

P.S. We were at the opening and it was a very cold night. Kudos to her for braving the cold while posing for the photogs.
