Shilpa chose to wear a sari at the Umang Police show picking a Manish Malhotra one from the designer’s latest Benaras collection. My issue with this look is the drape. I know Shilpa was trying to showcase the blouse but the extremely angled tight folds was quite a put off. Bummer, because she looked so sweet in the sari.

Considering that her blouse was long sleeve which meant one could totally see the contrast between the blouse and the sari, she really didn’t need to drape it the way she did. Agree?

P.S. Her earrings are from Anmol.

Deepika attended the Umang Police show wearing a cobalt blue Anamika Khanna lehenga featuring an ivory embroidered long kurta. A sleek ponytail and a statement Estaa necklace finished out her ‘I-am-a-Goddess’ look. Well, at least I think she looked like one. Love, love, loved it!

Katrina and co-star Aditya also made an appearance at the annual Umang Police show where the former was seen in a Manish Malhotra long anarkali. I don’t know if it’s the make-up or just the colors of the outfit, but I was totally loving this look of hers.

Alia attended the Police Umang show wearing a Manish Malhotra brocade skirt with white badla-work shirt. The maxi skirt/shirt combo was all the rage last year but can’t say am loving this pairing. The top screams 80s disco and that isn’t particularly a good thing.

She’d have fared better if she’d worn a simple sleeveless white or dull gold top to go with the skirt and those traditional Madhurya earrings.

Wearing Payal Khandwala, Sonam attended the annual Police Umang show that took place in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. While I love those Apala earrings, they seemed a bit too heavy for the look. I would’ve preferred to see chunky silver studs here.

She looked good nevertheless.
